[IPnomics] Global IT Startup, Who’s rising

0

Summary

The initial value of startups is similar to the value of the patents they own. New ideas and R&D outcomes are intellectual properties (IP). To select outstanding startups, IPnomics picked the most ‘promising global startups’ in the IT sector based on their US patent activities.

  • A total of 314 ‘promising global IT startups’ own 23 patents on average.
  • The global enterprise most interested in IT startups is IBM.
  • We selected global promising startups in the Telecommunication (53) and Semiconductor & Equipment (70) segments.
  • We also selected global promising startups in the Software (96), Media & Content (35) and Convergence (60) segments.
