Samsung Electronics Makes Strategic Partnership with Medtronic

Samsung Electronics has made a strategic partnership with Medtronic, which is a professional medical device industry in the U.S., and it will co-develop solutions for healthcare with Medtronic.

Samsung Electronics made an announcement on the 13th that it had discussed with Medtronic about working together to develop solutions that make real-time data communication between patients and medical teams possible.

Medtronic officially announced this information at North American Neuromodulation Society (NANS) that was held in Las Vegas on the 11th (U.S. time). Medtronic said that rapid and more accurate treatment will be possible through real-time data.

If solutions are developed, medical data that hospitals have can be easily sent to Samsung Electronics’ Smartphones, wearable, Tablet PCs and others.
